Project Community Connect Thursday, August 26. This event is being coordinated in collaboration with many organizations and agencies including the United Way of Otter Tail County and the Community Action Council in New York Mills. It will be happening at Calvary and will include another (larger) food distribution as well as distribution of school supplies collected during the "Stuff the Bus" campaign. In addition, there will be a "human services fair" where people can come to learn about all the different programs in our community that help and provide assistance to individuals and families. The food distribution that took place at Calvary on June 23 was a great success (serving and distributing food to 120 households) and so we are even more excited for this larger event. Of course that means we need that many more volunteers! Set up will be from 8:30am to 10:30am with distribution from 10:30am to 3:00pm or until all the food is gone. Please contact Rob at 346-4780 or robmcnair@calvaryperham.com to sign up to volunteer. Any amount of time you can give is welcome and appreciated!

Sharing God's Bounty. This program will begin June 13. You may begin to bring your extra garden produce to Calvary on Sunday June 13 or pick up produce that you need. There will be a sign and table in the fellowship hall. Extra produce will be shared with Project Rewind. Money donated for produce will support the Perham Food Shelf.
Volunteers are needed! Volunteers are needed after the second service each Sunday to put extra produce in the refrigerator and count the money and put it in the church office. That should not require more than 10 minutes. If you can help, please contact Reg and LaVerne Hansen at 346-4780 or 342-2987.
