Worship at Calvary. Regular, joyful worship is essential to have a close relationship with our Lord. Join us in making worship a central part of your life!
Worship with us on Sundays. There are two morning worship opportunities with a traditional service at 8:30 a.m. and a contemporary service at 10:45 a.m. From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, the contemporary service is held outdoors, weather permitting.
If you can't be with us in person, the previous Sunday's 8:30 a.m. traditional worship service is broadcast on Arvig Communications Television Channel 14 Tuesdays at 9 a.m. The Sunday 10:45 a.m. contemporary worship service can be heard live on Perham Radio Lakes 99.5. You can sponsor all or part of a $100 radio broadcast in honor or in memory of a loved one or event. Contact the Church Office for more information.
Other Worship Opportunities. Information about special worship services at Calvary can be found in the monthly newsletter, The Calvary Connection.
Holy Communion. This is celebrated on the first and third Sundays and on festivals. We practice an open communion at which all baptized believers in Christ are invited to celebrate this Sacrament with us. Parents of infants and small children are encouraged to bring them to the altar for a blessing. We have First Communion for our young people who are in the third grade and there is an instruction period for them and their parents before they receive their First Communion. Parents of first or second grade children who feel their child is ready to receive Holy Communion may go through special First Communion instruction with their child at the discretion of the pastor.
Worship Assistants. Would you like to greet worshippers, read Scripture, usher, or assist with Holy Communion? You can sign up on line for worship here. Training for any of the above is available; contact the Worship Chair if you’d like more information on this rewarding ministry opportunity!
