Adult Faith Enrichment

Calvary offers many opportunities for adult faith enrichment. Please check the calendar to confirm dates and times, as schedules are subject to change. From Bible study basics to topic-oriented studies on contemporary issues, there's something for everyone!

Book Fair November 23. Calvary’s annual Book Fair will be held Sunday, November 23 between services in the Fellowship Hall. There will be a great selection of items for yourself or for gifts, or an item to donate to the Calvary Library.

The Library Committee thanks all who donate books, give memorials and help support our Library throughout the year. Take a peek in our Library - check out our current displays, seasonal decorations - you just might find that BOOK, DVD, or CD that you can enjoy.

Women's Saturday Study. The Saturday Women’s Bible Study meets from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at church the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month, with no study in December. We will again work with the study from last spring, Trusting God, A Life Without Worry, a Women of Faith publication. All women are welcome to attend. Please contact Jean Hallberg at home at 346-6518 if you have questions or at her office during the day at 346-5073.

Women's Java Jams Study. Calvary's Java Jams Bible Study meets Mondays at 8:30 a.m. in the Mary Room. We welcome women of all ages! If you're a mom with school-age children, this study will work well with your schedule, as it doesn't meet when there is no school, though women of all ages are very welcome! Come check us out any Monday morning!

Adult Bible Study: Mondays. The Monday Noon Bible Study is led by Pastor Phil Mondays in the Matthias Room. Bring your lunch and join us for food for body and soul!

Adult Study Tuesdays: Seekers. Seekers Bible Study meets Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m. We will discuss and learn about several biblical subjects this year, beginning with the “Bible Promises.” We’ll be meeting in the Mary Room most times, and are interested in discussion more than homework. Men and women welcome.

Women's Cafe Study. Thursdays at 7:30 PM Women's Cafe Group. This is a once monthly Bible study and faith-based conversation group geared toward young adult women but is open to women of all ages. We meet the third Thursday of every month at 7:30pm at a group member's home (rotating). The study is produced by the WELCA, and is found on the website www.boldcafe.org under the heading Cafe Groups. Just One Month To Wellness. Pastor Alan Field from Tucson, Arizona, has put together a program that you might find very useful to help you live a balanced life for “just one month.” Download a copy of the program-->

Wednesday Men's Breakfast Study. Men's Breakfast group meets at 7 a.m. the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays each month. Join us for a hearty breakfast and a Bible study centered on the next Sunday's lessons.

Wednesday Circle Studies. Charity and Faith meet the first Wednesday, Charity at 9:30am and Faith at 1:00pm (with noon lunch at the Wild Oaks). Peace meets the second Wednesday at 9:30am. In December there are no Circle studies but instead a noon potluck and Bible study; check the December calendar for date. Feel free to attend any Circle study any time.
